Viva La Vida Festival and Kilson Street Stage

We were very excited and honored to be hosting the Viva La Vida Main stage at the Santa Ana Train Station. It was hard as hell keeping things in order and timed well but we managed to get through the day despite many technical difficulties. We Burned out two of our main Loudspeakers to shitty wiring by some other sound dudes (but thanks for letting us “borrow” some more speakers), our tarp didn’t work, and we had one cancellation on our set (due to some last minute personal issues). BUT! We had a really damn good time doing it. My feet hurt like hell at the end of the day, but the reward of seeing everyone in attendance enjoy themselves and be a part of something new is definitely worth the stress involved.

You bet we’ll be back next year and with even more cool acts and entertainment.

Check out our pictures below. These were taken by none other than our very own mustache master: Richard Bernal. Please give him a hearty handshake and pat on the butt next time you see him walking around these cool streets of Santa Ana.

We also want to thank Rudy and Gabriel Cordova for letting us host this stage and for putting together a great show. You know these guys do some great work and we can’t thank them enough for it. Thanks to the other organizers as well. It’s hard to believe that there were only about 6 people that were in charge of making sure this event went on without a hitch. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Also I want to thank the Kilson Street Stage Crew consisting of the following great individuals:
Enrique Avalos – Host for the day. And thanks for not making any explicit jokes at this Family Friendly Event
Omar Zamora – Thanks buddy
My Brother Miguel Briseno
My brother from another Mother Gabriel Martinez
Gabriel’s Cousins. Sorry I forget names.
